Position Title:
Nova Sensors - Integrated Circuit Designer

Specific Location:
Santa Ynez Valley, California

Position Description:
The engineer will be responsible for designing analog and mixed signal readout integrated circuits used in imaging sensors.

 • Design and detailed analysis of analog and mixed signal integrated
     circuits using both hand analysis and computer simulation
  • Mask layout and design verification
  • Testing and evaluation of new designs
  • Documenting circuit designs, analyses, and measured
     performances
  • Participate in customer interface and design reviews

Required Skills:
  • Experience designing with CMOS technologies
  • Familiarity with common EDA tools
  • Knowledge of product development cycle
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
     environment
  • Self motivated and results oriented

Favored Experience:
  • Design of infrared and/or visible 2D imaging arrays
  • Design/layout of very large format imaging arrays
  • Low power/low noise CMOS analog circuit design
  • Full-custom logic/state-machine/interface CMOS digital design
  • CMOS device modeling, analysis
  • Room and cryogenic temperature circuit design
  • Working with Windows-based EDA tools
  • Working with SPICE, Verilog/Verilog-A, MATLAB
  • Working in MS Windows/Vista PC environment

Education:
  • Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Authorization:
  • US Citizen or Permanent Residency Status
