Full-custom mixed-signal Readout Integrated Circuit (ROIC) design is Nova’s specialty. We have developed mid-format (320 x 256) and large format (1024 x 1024) ROICs for use with indium antimonide (InSb), mercury cadmium telluride (HgCdTe), indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) and quantum well infrared photodiode (QWIP) detector arrays. Nova is currently developing a variety of ROICs for many important applications.
Nova Sensors is also a world leader in the development of full-custom mixed-signal Read-In Integrated Circuits (RIICs) for use in high-temperature infrared scene projection applications. We have developed 256x256, 512x512 and 1024x1024 format RIIC devices.
